The SafeTape range of secure backup units offers a complete solution in a single enclosure to simplify the installation of a solution to meet the requirements of regulatory rules in the financial, medical, research and similar areas of commercial, industrial and government users.

The SafeTape range includes Linear Tape Open units from IBM in both generation 2 (LTO-2) and generation 3 (LTO-3) models, SuperDLT320 and the latest SDLT600 models plus the AIT-4 from SONY. With all units available with a choice of SCSI, Fibre Channel or iSCSI interfaces there is a SafeTape unit to suit ever need. With support from all the major Independent Software vendors as well as on many legacy system, SafeTape has a product to meet the needs of every department and business.

Encrypted using a unique dual interlaced 3DES2 mode tapes produced on a SafeTape unit can only be read by another Paranoia based unit with the correct user and hardware key. You can be sure of the integrity and confidentiality of your sensitive data when using a SafeTape product.
